Brand Strategist, Editor, & Problem Solver
I was raised on magazines. From the eagerly awaited Highlights in the mailbox each month to collages made from Sassy to the pile of Southern Livings that artfully graced my grandmother’s coffee table, I loved flipping through to find something new—a tip, a trick, that special something to serve as a little treat.
My first job out of college? A coveted internship at Southern Living, which led to a 17-year stint at Cooking Light, writing about everything from lemons to lipsticks.
In 2017, I shifted across the “aisle” to branded content, bringing an editor’s sensibility to the advertising and marketing space—but never losing sight of reaching the person at the other end of the message.
I’ve now expanded beyond just magazines, into the vast and exciting digital marketing world of custom content and asset creation. I lead my team of creatives with a Golden Rule POV, going out of my way to treat others with kindness, respect, and acknowledging that they have something to teach me, too.
I’ve worked on multi-million dollar campaigns for national advertisers. I’ve been the producer and creative director for countless photo and video shoots. I’ve helped craft brand messaging that’s equal parts savvy and smart. I know how to bring white-glove service and a smile while keeping it moving. And I’d be happy to do the same for you, too.
